This year's Cause for Paws is one for the record books. Over 156 cars registered raising $11,715 for the Friends of the Warwick Animal Shelter.
Russ' Ocean State Harley-Davidson was there with the OSHD Rhode Team passing out posters and selling gear to the droves of gasoline engine enthusiasts that made their way down to the show.
The Friends of the Warwick Animal Shelter raises funds for improvements that directly benefit the animals in the shelter. Funds are also used for spay/neutering assistance, purchasing medicines, veterinary care, and food for the animals that are in-residence at the shelter. The event also collects food, promotes adoption, and raises awareness not just for the Warwick Animal Shelter but for animal shelters, foster care, and adoption venues in general. The day is not just a carshow, but a gathering of like minded people for the general good and welfare of animals everywhere.
