Russ' Ocean State Harley-Davidson (Warwick)
Perhaps our most popular event, now in its 11th year! Skirts to Wrenches has been educating local ladies in the finer aspects of motorcycling for over a decade.
We'll start your journey with an overview of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, what's available and whats to come. We'll then take a hard look at ladies riding gear and teach how to properly fit helmets, eyewear, jackets, gloves, chaps and more. Next we'll have a technical theory forum in our demonstration bay with real life engine cutaways and components you can play with. Then we'll have a session on using hHarley-Davidson literature including parts books and service manuals. Finally we'll wrap it all up with one of our technicians in the shop explaining the basics of Harley-Davidson maintenance and the tools you'll need to keep your machine running like it should. We'll explain basic oil change, storage, interval maintenance, walk-around, surface care etc.
Information will also be available about our Rider Incubation Learn to Ride Program with CCRI and there will be an opportunity to ride the Jumpstart.
You will also meet like-minded lady riders who share your passion for a live on two (or three) wheels. Refreshments will be provided.
There is no charge to attend this course. Please RSVP if you wish to attend. THIS COURSE IS AT OUR WARWICK STORE ONLY.
