2010 Fat Boy® Lo
Decked out in satin chrome and denim black, the new Fat Boy® Lo is a darker and lower incarnation of the popular Fat Boy®. Although not officially one of Harley’s Dark Customs, the slammed suspension and blacked-out treatment in this new version give it the menacing profile of a lean, mean street machine.
With its front and rear suspension lowered by 1.15 inches, and the seat height dropped to 24.25 inches, the Lo is the lowest ride of any stock Harley® model. Its new low-riding design gives the rider more of an “in the bike” riding position, making you feel like part of the machine.
Reflecting its dark side is the gloss black finish on its triple tree covers, nacelle, headlight bucket, air cleaner cover trim ring, rear fender supports, and floorboards. The frame, swingarm, front shock covers, oil tank, and air cleaner cover all have a subtly contrasting denim black finish. Even its Twin Cam 96B engine has black powdercoating, and the Bullet Hole Disc 17-inch cast aluminum wheels have black centers and machined outer rims.
Come check out the new Fat Boy® Lo at Ocean State today.

2009 Farm Tour Recap:
The 2009 Farm Tour proved to be our most successful yet. Over 100 motorcycles left our Warwick store hitting poker stops at Palazzi Orchards, Creamery Brook Bison Farm and Ekonk Hill Turkey Farm. Riders were treated to food and fun at every stop. The ride finished in Exeter with chowder, fresh corn on the cob and a genuine bluegrass jam session. Our special thanks to all who helped out and participated.

Roosters check out the chrome at Ekonk Hill Turkey Farm.

Blue grass jam session under the Exeter pavillion.

Employee Profile: Judy Amato

Judy has been with OSHD for over 11 years. She started back on April Fools Day 1998 and has been no joke ever since.
Judy was working at an IGA in Warwick when Russ discovered her. Seeing all the work she did he asked her to come and join the Ocean State family. Judy accepted the offer and began working the Motorclothes® department. Having a knack for numbers and organization, Judy was quickly moved into the office where today she works as the Inventory Control Officer.
When asked Judy will tell you her favorite thing about OSHD is their commitment to family. The job has allowed her to spend more time with her daughter when possible. Today, Judy's husband Tony works for Ocean State and the entire Amato family is frequently seen together on premises.
Judy enjoys Summer and riding 2-up with Tony on their 2002 Sportster® 1200 Custom.
Judy has also become a favorite of Jake, one of the OSHD mascots and a very particular beagle. Jake's affection for Judy is evident in his excitement when he first sees Judy in the morning. His whole body wags. Jake spends his days in Judy's office sitting in an easy chair, living the good life of a pampered beagle.
"I like what I do." Says Judy with Jake snoring peacefully by her side, another beneficiary of Judy's genuine good natured charm. |
