Greetings from Ocean State Harley-Davidson®,Inc. We would like to wish everybody a safe, healthy and happy holiday and reflect on 2009.

Obviously, many of our patrons, friends, and family have been challenged by the economy this year. This was certainly a challenging year with business down and an abnormally wet season. However, we like to focus on the positive and there is much to celebrate about 2009.

Our business model features fairness and honesty. This has rewarded us with a very loyal customer base and what we feel is one of the best staffs in the industry. We are a family business with numerous sets of spouses, and multiple generations of families that have been with us for many years. This was once common in America, today it is a rarity. This helps foster our family-friendly atmosphere.

In 2009, Touring models were by far the favorite, with the Street Glide®being the year's best selling bike. We have received rave reviews on the new Road Glide® Custom and the Electra Glide®Ultra Limited.

Harley-Davidson Motor Company has also faced some difficult decisions and we feel has really moved forward with a good solid strategy for the future. They have discontinued their Buell® model line and announced they will divest their MV Agusta Cagiva properties. They have decided to keep their facility in York, PA with a major overhaul of their manufacturing processes. They have re-organized their transportation and distribution departments. I have met with their new leadership team and found them to be refreshingly straight forward and focused on the strength of the brand.

We have many exciting things in the works for 2010. We have formed a corporate partnership with the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation with our local chapter Harley Owners Group®. Our program for women, "Skirts to Wrenches" was such a success that we are launching an advanced version in 2010. Internally, we are hoping to improve our new bike sales delivery process for our customers and provide our employees with numerous training opportunities. My Dad, Russ, mentioned a desire to go South for the Winter, so we sent him to the Exeter store! Stop by and see him sometime. Most of all, we wanted to say "Thank You" from all of us and to tell you how much we and our families appreciate your continued support. Lets hope for a great 2010!
