Demo Days: May 23rd

Test ride any number of 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycles.  Rides are free. Participants must bring a valid motorcycle license, wear long pants, over the ankle foot protection, gloves, and a jacket.  We will provide the helmet.  In addition, participants must provide proof of insurance of a vehicle that you own. This is an escorted ride and release forms must be signed.

Sign up in advance by calling 401-781-6866.  Open slots during the event are on a first come first served basis.

Ocean State Harley-Davidson is honored to host the 2009 Harley's Heroes™ Tour on May 23rd, during our Military Day event.

The mission of the Harley's Heroes™ Tour is to provide access to benefits for all veterans and show appreciation for their service and sacrifice to our country. While on the 2009 tour, the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Mobile Service Offices (MSOs) will provide benefits counseling to those veterans who suffer from service-connected injuries but may never have filed a claim for benefits or have found it difficult working with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The Mobile Service Unit will be in Warwick between 9AM and 5PM on the 23rd.

Did you know....

Challenge coins are a U.S. military tradition originating during World War I for the purpose of unit identity and moral. Challenge coins are carried at all times, and various penalties can be handed to those who are found without their coin!

The tradition of a challenge is the most common way to ensure that members are carrying their organization's coin. The challenge, which can be made at any time, begins with the challenger drawing his/her coin and slapping or placing the coin on the table.  If challenged, the member must produce the coin, or be penalized - however should everyone challenged be able to produce their coin, the challenger must be penalized!
